Background Nonsense

So... Here's the thing. I have been doing a lot of working from home. And... maybe I like background noise. Not always. But, ya know, sometimes. Blame it on growing up in a large family, I suppose. Sometimes a little (mellow) background noise is just the ticket.

When I am shopping for what I will select as my background sound, I definitely have a top pick.

Well, okay. That's the trailer. What I really should have asked is, have you seen this scene from this blessed film?

Yes. I have seen it. Probably several hundred times. Judge me if you will.

So today as I was making my way through the third cycle of watching this movie I started to realise something....
Maybe this isn't normal. Maybe not everyone does this. Maybe not everyone can recite this film from beginning to end. (Or maybe it is normal. That would sure be nice.)

Boy, oh boy. It sure is interesting the profound effect that media can have on our lives. (Interesting is one word for it, anyway.) I think in the future I should probably just stick to listening the classical music.
